Geoffrey Kendrick, head of digital asset research at Standard Chartered Bank, was interviewed recently. Will Trump’s election be beneficial to Solana? Will transaction volume surge a hundredfold in the future?
Kendrick proposed a series of new valuation standards, focusing on Solana and Ethereum. He emphasized that if Trump wins the election, it may create an environment more conducive to the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Kendrick said that Solana’s market cap-to-fees ratio is currently as high as 250 times, compared with 121 times for Ethereum, showing the market’s high expectations for Solana’s future growth.
Kendrick also said that assuming Trump is successfully elected, Solana’s trading volume may surge to 100 to 400 times, and the market’s high valuation will become reasonable. Kendrick added that these predictions are based on the possibility that Solana will be able to process more transactions faster and cheaper in the coming years, and that support for cryptocurrency policies will further promote this growth.
Differences in policies between Trump and Harris affect the market, Kendrick is still optimistic about Solana
Kendrick also weighed in on the impact Trump and Harris had on the market. Assuming Trump wins the election, Solana is expected to increase 5 times, while Ethereum will increase 4 times and Bitcoin will increase 3 times. But if Harris is elected, Kendrick predicts that Bitcoin will beat Ethereum, and Ethereum will also slightly surpass Solana.
Kendrick also said that if Trump dominates in 2025, the price of Ethereum may be as high as $10,000, while if it is He Jinli, it is estimated to be $7,000. Regardless of who is elected, Bitcoin is likely to exceed $200,000.
Solana is currently considered by the market to be a strong rival to Ethereum. Kendrick said Solana’s performance over the past few years has shown significant growth potential, particularly its fast and low-cost transaction advantages.
